Step into the heart of Liberty’s iconic scarf department with Borders & Blooms. Celebrating the rich tapestry of floral artistry that has shaped our silk shawls for generations, the collection is inspired by the vibrant diversity of designs that define the Liberty scarf. Dating back to the early 1860s, before Sir Arthur Lasenby Liberty founded his eponymous store, he was inspired by the elegance and artistry of scarves which he later imported from across the globe to be sold in his own shop.

Honouring the craftsmanship and creativity that can be discovered in the Regent Street flagship today, Borders & Blooms translates Liberty’s legacy of beautiful hand-painted botanicals, the refined geometry of classic borders, and the expressive character of archival motifs into a thoughtfully curated crafting collection. Ornamental details, rhythmic stripes, and delicately layered florals come together with versatile, multidirectional designs, offering a balance of statement prints and subtle textures.

Rooted in Liberty’s heritage and refreshed with a modern sensibility, this collection captures the colour, charm, and unmistakable flair of the Liberty scarf. The collection is traditionally screen printed onto Lasenby cotton, a base specifically developed for quilting and craft projects.
