Before I was ever Bee in my Bonnet, I was a Farm Girl. Both of my parents grew up on farms, as did their parents before them, which in turn makes me a Farmer’s Daughter! As a farmer’s daughter, I continue the rich tradition of hard work, resourcefulness, and love for the land. Sewing was a way of life. My mother taught me to stitch practical and beautiful things—aprons, potholders, dishtowels, and my grandmother taught me to make quilts! In true farmhouse spirit, we lived by the motto: "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without." Those lessons of practicality and beauty inspired Farmer’s Daughter—a fabric collection that reflects my roots.
