As a young child I loved looking through picture books more than reading them. I loved examining each scene and imagining what it would be like to be there. Whimsical Woodland’s fanciful scenes allow for this kind of joyful adventure. How sweet would it be to have forest animals gather around for story time, to get the latest woodland chatter from a friendly bird, to pick the prettiest mushrooms from underneath a pink tree, and get a peek of little gnomes taking a peaceful walk in the woods? I love bringing a sense of playful wonder and pure childlike happiness in my artwork that takes the eyes, heart and mind away for just a moment.
