Originally created in 1968 during the Liberty Art Nouveau revival, Penelope’ s Dance is an ode to Belgium’ s breathtaking Winter Garden of the Ursulines, built in 1900. The design mirrors the grandeur of its stained-glass dome, adorned with a plethora of stylised blooms. Rendered in monochromatic palettes, majestic poppies and daisies entwine with swirling foliage, their bold outlines accentuated to form a seamlessly organic pattern.
