Description

Inspired by the lush gardens of the ancient Greeks, this design draws from scenes depicted on archaic pottery. A vase painting of the Garden of the Hesperides – nymphs of the evening and golden light – provided rich symbolism, weaving mythology into this handdrawn pattern. Stylised serpents emerge from swirling leaves, fruits, and vines, their forms adorned with ancient Greek art motifs, while a monochrome palette accentuates the design’ s striking contours.
