De-Anne Strange is an independent Australian surface pattern designer who draws her creative inspiration from the native flora and fauna in Western Australia, where she lives on a family farm with her husband and three boys. Prior to her career in surface pattern design, she has a background in fine arts and also worked as a professional photographer, which greatly informs her eye for color and composition. De’s designs are versatile, with a focus on fabric, home decor, and commercial licensing. Her work is highly sought after for its unique Australian style that evokes the natural world around her.
